Fabric Requirements
Individual yardage is not listed for every color because most colors require only very small, scrap sized amounts. Even ⅛ yard would usually be far more than needed for many of the individual sections.
For a 12”x 12” block, approximately ¼ yard of background fabric, or one fat quarter, is recommended. For the remaining colors, only small amounts are needed, making these Christmas star patterns perfect for sewing from your fabric scraps.
Skill Level
These patterns are designed for quilters who are familiar with Foundation Paper Piecing.

FAQ
What is included in the Merry Stars Collection?
The collection includes 10 different Christmas star Foundation Paper Piecing quilt block patterns. Every design comes in five finished sizes.
What sizes are included?
Each Christmas star pattern comes in 6”, 8”, 9”, 10”, and 12” finished sizes. The unfinished blocks measure ½” larger.
Can I combine the 10 blocks into a quilt?
Yes. All 10 designs coordinate beautifully and can be mixed and matched to create a Christmas star sampler quilt. You can also use individual blocks for pillows, bags, placemats, wall hangings, and other holiday sewing projects.
Are these patterns good for fabric scraps?
Yes. Many of the individual Christmas motifs require only small pieces of fabric, so this collection is a great way to turn favorite scraps into Christmas quilt blocks.
Is this a physical product?
No. This is a digital PDF sewing pattern collection. Nothing will be shipped to you.
Is a Foundation Paper Piecing tutorial included?
No. The patterns include a short assembly instruction, but they do not include a complete FPP tutorial. You can find my complete Foundation Paper Piecing guide through the link above.
